[My Hero Academia x OC] In a world where 80% of the population has a superpower, referred to as a quirk, many find a place to stand on either the side of good, or evil. But what happens when someone can't seem to fit in with either group?"Welcome to the 8 o'clock news. I'm your host Hanamiya Aiko. Recently a series of small robberies have been taking place near the southern city limits. Authorities speculate that a group of teenagers are to blame. The robberies seem to be very random, all taking place at different times of the day, and on seemingly random days of the week. Reports say that the individuals involved never show up together, and police have yet to identify any suspects. The most recent victim, a local store owner, who wanted to remain anonymous, claims that no one suspicious entered at, or before, the time of the attack. The only similarities between the incidents is that each victim claims that their store gets destroyed, causing a mass exodus. However, before authorities arrive, the store returns to perfect condition, like nothing ever happened. No serious injuries occur in any of the instances and the only reported theft is that the owner loses money. The most ever taken has been $500. Authorities ask that if anything suspicious occurs in your area, that it be reported to the nearest station. On to the next segment..." This is a short xOC that I have had in my head for a while now. I have only ever written one other fanfiction, but it was a collaboration between my cousin and I. I don't think of myself as the best writer, but hopefully through this, and other pieces of writing, I can become better at creative writing. The body of the user is able to absorb sound waves, and transform them into energy, that can be converted into various objects. In Y/N's case, it's mostly weapons.The closer the sound waves are to the ears, the easier they will be to absorb. The least it takes is half an hour, and they can be kept for two hours if not "recharged" constantly. The user can recover that energy when sleeping, but it will be a much slower process.There's a huge downside to it, however. Overuse of the quirk, or basically anything that changes drastically the flow of that energy, will cause the user to faint. Not only that, but, when the limit of two hours is reached, the level of energy acquired by the quirk will start to be released in the form of heat.Additional information: She's always taken Hizashi as an example, since she was a kid. Still, she's always had difficulties communicating with people her age, specially as a kid, so, she hardly publicly displays how she actually feels, and hides it under bad jokes, snarky remarks and overall stupidity. She always, or almost always, wears headphones because of her quirk. Still, she has good hearing. Somehow.Personality: She is naturally loud, shouting instead of talking, but she knows when to be quiet - most of the time. She manages to come off as careless and rude; yet she shares a lot of her personality traits with Hizashi, still managing to be scarier some times, specially when she gets serious.Appearance: nothing will be specified, except height. And when her useful quirk evolved, she was whisked away to U.A. High and her life was effectively ruined.Years later she's back at the school that took away her freedom, but for a different reason. To teach, yet unbeknownst to her she'll be forced back to be around old company. ***Kazuno doesn't know why she wants to be a hero, only that she wants to help people. And that's what she'll do, even if it means getting herself involved in situations she shouldn't. With a not so useful, and not to mention disorienting quirk she didn't even think she'd make it into the esteemed school.Accepted into the school, albeit not in the hero course she thought she could make a difference. And the first difference she wanted to make happened to be sitting not too far from her.
